John Mascheroni, Tappo Sofa, Italy, 1979

Tappo is a testament to John Mascheroni’s unique eye for form and dedication to structural integrity. Following its introduction in 1973, this sofa set a new standard for future designs. The twelve sections and two tables may be arranged in multiple configurations, allowing the sofa to fit almost any space. The deep, vibrant orange upholstery, made of a soft woven wool blend, is expertly tailored and has a contemporary feel. The techniques used in the production of this sofa are of the highest possible quality for the period.

The pictured sofa was acquired directly from its original owner and is in mint condition. This is a rare chance to own a sofa from this period in such perfect condition.
