Tappo combines John Mascheroni’s genius for mass and form with innovative structural integrity. Awarded national design following it’s introduction in 1973, this sofa set the pace for designs to come. The sofa, from it’s original owner, in untouched condition from when it was delivered in 1979. This is a rare chance to own a sofa from this period that shows little or no wear. The twelve sections, and two tables can be arranged in multiple configurations, with both convex and concave sections. It is ideal for a long winding S-shape but can be used in many ways. The deep bright orange upholstery feels totally contemporary today and is on trend now. The whole sofa upholstered in a soft woven wool blend is expertly tailored with saddle stitching all around. It is highest quality possible production for the period.
