The magnificent 2″ thick redwood doors are carved in a radiant sunburst pattern on both sides. The interior-facing sides have been ebonized. Both sides feature large bronze C-shaped handles. Manufactured by Forms and Surfaces, Inc. in California in the early 1970s.
Documented on page 67 of the Pasadena Art Museum’s California Design Eleven. Excellent original condition.
