A Sculpted Bronze tall cabinet by Paul Evans. USA, Circa 1969. A tall two-door cabinet on steel-shingled recessed base with four interior drawers and adjustable shelves. This cabinet is an outstanding example of Paul Evans sculpted bronze technique and features incredibly bold sculpted decoration on the exterior and interior. The massive doors open to reveal an amber striate painted interior and four richly decorated drawers. This piece would function well as a dresser or bar, Evans unique sculpted bronze technique, which begins in this instance with a wooden case, is created using hand applied resin embedded with steel  and is finished with a layer of atomized bronze patinated with carbon.
