This mirror is an important and unusual design from the august Italian firm Fontana Arte.  An early example – dating from the 1940s – the mirror is composed of an exterior walnut frame, a ring of panels of beveled mirror, a ring of carved walnut petals, and a central beveled circular mirror.  An interesting juxtaposition of mirror and walnut with a classically Italian feel. From a private Milanese collection. In very good original condition.
