Neal Small, Monumental Mirrored Wall Sculpture, USA, c. 2000

A sculptural and iconic Neal Small design, this monumental mirror is a dazzling center piece for a room; changing throughout the day as the light reflects and emits from its tilted small mirrored planes, it both opens up with a space and creates a colorful mosaic of all that is around it.

This mirror was featured in the Architectural Digest 2016 feature on Todd Merrill Studio’s new TriBeCa gallery.

In the mid-1960’s, Neal Small came on the new York furniture scene as a young designer with a transformational idea for furniture—acrylic plastic. Known for his use of Plexiglas, lucite and acrylite, Small turned out innovative furniture, lighting and sculpture in  largely unexplored industrial materials that was at the time mainly used for displays. Neal Small’s work can be found in museum collection worldwide, including the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art.

Each of the four sections has the following dimensions: 44″.5″ H x 56.5″ W x 3.5″ D.

 Total dimensions:  7.5′ h x 9.5′ w
