An unprecedented set of ten side chairs and two armchairs from the Paul Evans Studio, all chairs signed and dated “Paul Evans 68”. The chairs are copper patchwork “shingles” with braised bronze and pewter decoration. The welded tri-legs are blackened steel on bronze casters (casters are optional). These chairs are each unique as all decoration is done by hand. The seats are comfortable, roomy and sturdy. The black vinyl upholstery is original and serviceable, but could be replaced with a number of options. It is very rare to have a set this large with armchairs included.
