A Hand-Carved Mahogany and Gilt Center or Tea Table by Pedro Friedeberg. Mexico, 1982. A beautifully carved and laquered table comprised of six “feet’ as legs and six “hands” supporting a glass top. Ebonized mahogany with bright gold gilding on the toe and finger nails.  A classic example of Pedro Friedeberg’s whimsical and figurative furniture pieces. With the original oval plate glass top.  Signed and dated: PEDRO FRIEDEBERG, 1982.
