Spectacular pair of Seniah Ledge-back chairs by William “Billy” Haines from the Deutsch Estate, one of the five remaining intact Haines interiors, 1959. Newly reupholstered in deep chocolate brown 100% silk velvet. The Deutsch’s were renowned for their gatherings of
influential Hollywood and political circle of friends; the Ronald Reagans, Frank Sinatras and other Hollywood royalty were regulars and conversed in these chairs for fifty years  The ledge-back chair is similar to one photographed in Haines own home, as seen in  Class Act William Haines Legendary Hollywood Decorator by Peter Schifando & Jean H. Mathison page 07.
