Executive Desk by Gio Ponti, Italy, ca. 1938. An executive desk masterfully designed and crafted using Aniegre wood, a species of African Mahagony, for the top and front and European Maple wood feet capped in bronze. The desk consists of panelled flanks and two banks of four drawers each and one long horizontal drawer in the center. The beautiful large knobs elevate this desk to a work of art. Documented and period.
