A unique, custom designed sectional by Todd Merrill, The Modern American sectional is available on a commission basis  with bespoke dimensionality and fabrics. Made with luxurious down filled cushions, the sectional is made floating on a classic modern frame on invisible casters. Interpreted from the designs of great American Modernist creatives of the last century, the sofa is elegant and demure in design as well as extremely comfortable. The pictured section is set on a hardwood frame.

Merrill’s signature creations reflect his vast experience with twentieth-century design and knowledge of contemporary tastes. The pieces are crafted at some of New York’s finest workshops and Merrill personally oversees production. The frames are made of solid hardwood and steel. A standard base is rendered in polished chromed steel but can be customized in brass, bronze, lacquer, or wood. A variety of fabrics and colors are possible.
