SOLD
A large cast and welded bronze sculptural room-divider made by Silas Seandel, USA, circa 1970s.
A large cast and welded bronze sculptural room-divider made by Silas Seandel, USA, circa 1970s. This highly sculpted screen is rendered in bronze using welded rods and cast elements in a lacy but brutal form giving it a highly textured surface, and deep patina that filters light dramatically. The base in heavy solid bronze can be bolted directly to the floor or to a stone or wood base to be used as a room divider/screen — free-standing sculpture. A fantastic example of Seandel’s abstract designs in massive form. Inscribed signature on the base.
