Pair of rare chandeliers designed by Aloys Gangkofner. GER, circa 1980. Each with six arms in polished steel with 180 hand-blown glass drops. Commissioned for the foyer of the Theater AM Park, Weinheim au der Berstrasse, Glesse, Germany. Gangkofner is considered to be one of the most important German glass designers of the post war period. He led the glass department of the Munich Academy of Fine Arts for over 40 years.
