Set of 8 High-Back Dining Chairs by James Mont

USA 1963

Each with elongated Greek key backs and Chinoiserie fretwork carved apron, each finished in satin black lacquer with gold leaf detail. Seats retain original horsehair filling upholstered with new grey silk velvet and silk satin piping.

Accompanied by a copy of the original concept drawing of the Orlowitz dining room signed by James Mont. Listed on Mont’s Contract Specifications provided by Mont to Mr. Orlowitz.
