Shagreen-Wrapped Backgammon Table by Karl Springer. USA, circa 1970s. A beautiful shagreen embossed leather wrapped gaming table with a hidden inset backgammon board. This custom table has an inset backgammon table executed in burgundy, green, and gold with storage for gaming pieces. The board is covered when not in use with a matching panel of shagreen-embossed leather. Brass fluting runs the length of both solid legs. This piece makes a great desk when not being used for gaming. This table is accompanied by it’s original receipt.
