An original labeled pair of slung back club chairs designed and produced by James Mont in the late 1940s. These chairs date to Mont’s most prolific and best period epitomizing the gangster chic meets Hollywood glamour on Park Avenue that he was best known for. The chairs have been beautifully restored with down and foam cushions in Nancy Corizon “mink,” a grey/beige silk-velvet. Wide and deep these chairs are comfortable enough to sleep in. Detailed with grey silk-satin piping. Very good condition.
