This rare layered goatskin custom armoire from Karl Springer was commissioned in the mid 1970s. Its tortoise shell look was created by layering hand selected and individually dyed skins that have been lacquered to a high gloss.  Two antlers serve as the armoire’s door handles.  The armoire features rounded corners and is fitted with a shelf, a clothing bar, and two bottom drawers.  The piece can be used as a closet or retrofitted as a bar cabinet.
