Silas Seandel, Cathedral Table, USA, c. 1970s
Silas Seandel began producing the Cathedral Table around 1975. The brass and bronze cylindrical shapes of the base are welded together in a form reminiscent of a pipe organ. Seandel’s skill as a craftsman is evident in his use of a welding torch to manipulate the metals of the base. The piece is in excellent original condition.
