This sinuous mural sculpture part of Joseph Walsh’s Equinox Series is a dynamic work of art, experienced differently from every angle. Made of olive ash with copper leaf, the wall evolves with new shadows and forms as the light passes across it throughout the day. According to Walsh, “In the Equinox series, I seek to emphasize the relationship between light, shadow, layering, erosion, patterns, change and passing of time. In nature we can see repeated cycles, the seasons repeat each year, the trees bare their leaves each year but with this pattern there is also change and evolution. ”
