A pair tufted club chairs designed by James Mont in the late 1940s. One is labeled with original sewn in tag ‘James Mont Designs’, the match is an exact reproduction. 

Fully restored with the original hardwood frame, a re-tied sprung interior, new down and foam cushion, and a new interior. The chairs are upholstered in Aubergine Romo velvet.

James Mont was a  master of late 1940s American glamour; this unique pair of club chairs exemplifies his repertoire of plush and elegant design.
