BIZARRE, BEAUTIFUL FINDS AT SF’S FOG FAIR
By Anh-Minh Le | January 23, 2015
The second annual FOG Design+Art, which ended last Sunday, spotlighted 20th century and contemporary works from dozens of dealers and gallerists from the East and West coasts. The three-day event at Fort Mason Pavilion is a benefit for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and organizers hope it eventually grows to the size and quality of design fairs in New York and London. Midcentury and cutting-edge furniture was exhibited alongside art by established as well as emerging talents. Some of the most interesting pieces stood out for their interesting use of materials or a sense of whimsy.
